Steve Biggers
Steve has been training dogs for over 30 years. He has a strong background in field trials and hunt test, competing in numerous events over the years. He's titled over 30 Master hunters. He has taken his passion of dogs and hunting and turned it into a successful livelihood. Steve and RCR have been featured in many professional publications including Delta Waterfowl, Wildfowl Magazine, and Texas Dove Hunter Magazine. He and his wife Deanna have been married for 30 years and have two daughters.
Laura Biggers Hertel
Steve's daughter Laura was raised with a love for dog training and waterfowl hunting. She graduated from SHSU and ultimately decided to follow her passion to work with dogs. Laura has been training full time for 4 years. Along with training, she runs all social media and marketing aspects of RCR. She and her husband Tyler have a one year old son named Rhody.
Deanna Biggers
Deanna, Steve's wife and co-owner of Rocky Creek Retrievers, works behind the scenes running the administrative side of the business. She also helps with day to day care taking of the kennel.
